It was that time of the year again when fashion buffs are glued to their seats as ace designers display their exquisite collections at the coveted Lakme Fashion Week. The show is graced by Bollywood celebrities every year and this year was no different. Here is a look at Bollywood celebrities who stole the show this year.


Kareena Kapoor Khan turned showstopper for designer Monisha Jaising and needless to say, the actress was a sight to behold in a holographic off-shoulder gown.

Late actress Sridevi's daughter Janhvi Kapoor made her ramp debut at the Lakme Fashion Week 2018 in Mumbai on Friday, August 24. The actress looked refreshingly gorgeous as she graced the ramp in designer Nachiket Barve's Pink and Blue embroidered lehenga. The series named 'Millennial Maharanis' was made out of luxurious free-flow fabric provided by 'R | Elan', the fabric unit of Reliance Industries. 



Neha Dhupia and Angad Bedi's ramp walk on the fourth day of the Lakme Fashion Week 2018 was a rather special one. The couple had announced that they are expecting their first child just a day before and the glowing mother-to-be flaunted her baby bump and she walked the ramp for designer Payal Singha. While interacting with the media post her appearance on the ramp Neha said, "It is going to be the most memorable walk ever for me and Angad. I am going to make sure to tap into all the footage, of all these videos that you are taking. In a few years, whenever he or she can, I will be like you have already made your debut on the ramp. I am really looking forward to it." Neha was the epitome of grace in a peplum top and skirt accessorised with silver bangles and a cocktail ring while Angad complimented her to perfection in a matching floral sherwani.

Varun Dhawan certainly set the ramp on fire as he walked the ramp for designer Kunal Rawal. The actor looked dapper in a light pink suit and turned heads with his black nail paint and kohl. 



Sushmita Sen spun magic at the Lakme Fashion Week winter/festive 2018 in a Kanchipuram outfit by designer Sunita Shanker. The label RmKV showcased a wide range of reversible, innovative drapes offering a contemporary twist to traditional outfits. The beautiful, bespoke saris have been designed and crafted by taking inspiration from a range of sources such as nature, art, and architecture. 




Kangana Ranaut oozed panache in an electric blue double mesh gown. The Pankaj and Nidhi collection was adorned leather appliqué work and embellished with blue elements. The actress' dramatic eye make up only added to her enchanting appearance.



Esha Deol and Hema Malini walked the ramp for fashion designer Sanjukta Dutta. Esha was wearing a traditional red and white lehenga saree along and complimented her look with oxidized pieces of jewellery. The actress sported a hair bun adorned with white flowers. While her mother Hema Malini looked elegant in a traditional saree and donned a similar hairdo as Esha.

Lakme fashion week winter/festive 2018 was a five-day long extravaganza which came to a closure on August 26. The coveted show comprised a line-up of showcases by designers, creative presentations, and ideas from upcoming talents and the industry’s veteran designers.
