She is married to a famous Bollywood actor Dharmendra. Her chatter-box and spirited Basanti is arguably one of the most memorable characters in popular culture.

Dream Girl

Seeta Aur Geeta

The film made Hema Malini win a Filmfare Award for the Best Actress. She played the dual role of twin sisters. It was considered one of the best performances in her career. The songs and her chemistry with both Dharmendra and Sanjeev Kumar were appreciated by both fans and critics alike.
