Iconic actress Sridevi, who acted in more than 250 films in over 45 years, has definitely created an enduring fashion legacy during her time in the spotlight. Her untimely and sudden death in Dubai on February 24, brought an end to that beautiful era.

Designer Neeta Lulla who dressed Sridevi in 'Roop ki Rani', in one of the interviews called her 'a fashion institute in herself.' The sparkle in her eyes, a magnetic vibe that really came across her in style and fashion sense. Her perfectly-draped designer sarees, her jumpsuits, her simple look in 'English Vinglish' — Sridevi's style was as iconic as her acting ability. Every single time she walked on the red carpet or was spotted at events, her outfits, and the overall ensemble left people in awe of her. Her dynamic, vivid and stunning fashion sense was something every actress looked upto. Sridevi, who won the Style Legend (Female) award in 2018 said in her speech, “Boney ji gives finishing touches to my looks."

From wearing Sabyasachi, Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla, Falguni and Shane Peacock, Rohit Bal, Manish Malhotra and more — Sridevi's grace and a charming persona translated in the outfits she wore. She evolved from a timeless beauty to a modern day fashionista. Designer Manish Malhotra, who called Sridevi his muse, wrote a beautiful tribute to his 'dear friend', who he worked with since 1991. In one of the interviews, he said: "She now leaves behind a legacy of exceptional work. I want the world to remember her as who she was—an iconic actor, an exceptional person, someone who had her mind and her heart in the right place. This is the first time I’ve lost someone so close, and it feels surreal. I’d known her for 28 years."

Jaqueline Fernandez, in an interview, said that she thinks Sridevi is the eternal style icon because she was able to do traditional and modern so well. She further says that the saree Sridevi wore in 'Mr India' for 'I Love You' is simply eternal and iconic.
