Alia Bhatt who featured on a magazine cover recently, opened her heart about relationships and love. The actress who is dating Ranbir Kapoor said that one should go through the heartbreaks once in their life to fall in love all over again.

She said: "It’s a very important part of growing up. If there’s one thing I am certain of, it’s that love is the most powerful feeling in the world. The cycle of going through the piercing pain of heartbreak, only to come out stronger and fall in love all over again, is something everyone should go through at some point in their life."

Alia's sister Pooja Bhatt also spoke about her relationship with actor Ranbir Kapoor and said: “Anything Alia does as far as her relationship is concerned it’s her own prerogative. We are no one to decide for her. We are there for her always to make sure she is happy and safe. In no way do we force ourselves in each other’s lives.”

'Raazi' actress also spoke about her work choices. She said that sometimes the story could be beautiful but the character isn't or the character is brilliant but the storyline lacks punch. So, for her the balance lies in identifying a great story first and then the character within it. Alia further clarified that the character doesn't need to be a meaty one but she looks forward to do something different from her last role and challenge herself.

Meanwhile, on the professional front, Ranbir and Alia are gearing up for Ayan Mukerji's 'Brahmastra'. Besides the lead pair, the film also stars veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan and Mouni Roy. The project is backed by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions and is scheduled to release on December 25, 2019.
