Kriti Sanon and Kartik Aaryan's 'Luka Chuppi' has been gaining rave reviews because of the lead pair's chemistry and performance. The film had an amazing opening on Friday, with an occupancy of 20%, and minted a total of Rs 8.01 crore, thus becoming one of Kartik's biggest opener ever. This is also the first time the duo has shared screen space together.
Even on the second day, the film did really well and earned a total of Rs 10.08 crores, thus minting a total of Rs 18.09 crore. The film is expected to cross the collection of Kartik Aaryan's previously films namely 'Pyaar Ka Punchnama' franchise, and 'Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety'.
On the third day, the film ranked into the top five highest opening weekenders. The same was confirmed by Trade analyst Taran Adarsh who took to Twitter and wrote "#LukaChuppi emerges a winner... Shows superb growth on Day 2 and 3... Biz doubles at many screens on Day 3... Has 30 cr+ weekend... Will remain strong today due to partial holiday [#Mahashivratri]... Fri 8.01 cr, Sat 10.08 cr, Sun 14.04 cr. Total: 32.13 cr. India biz."

In the film, Kartik's character 'Guddu' and Kriti's character 'Rashmi' decide to stay together as they want to explore their relationship before getting married. But a twist in the story is that Guddu's family comes in town and is shocked to see that the two are living and have even tied the knot.
The film is directed by Laxman Utekar and produced by Dinesh Vijan, the film also stars Aparshakti Khurana, Pankaj Triptahi and Vinay Pathak.
