Bollywood star Prabhudeva is very well known for his dancing skills both in Bollywood and South Indian. The choreographer-turned-filmmaker has even translated his love for dance through the ABCD (Any Body Can Dance) franchise. Now, the actor is going back to Tamil Nadu with his dancing skills. Prabhudeva is all set to choreograph a song in the popular Tamil movie 'Maari 2' which stars South Indian actor Dhanush in the lead role. Announcing Prabhudeva's collaboration with the 'Maari 2' cast, the 'Raanjhanaa' star took to Twitter and said, "I’m super privileged to share with you all, that the man who is the reason behind dance evolving in our country @PDdancing is choreographing a song for us in #maari2 .. grew up watching his magic. What a moment for me. Thank you, sir."
The upcoming movie 'Maari 2' is a sequel of a 2015 Tamil film 'Maari', which is a gangster comedy starring Dhanush and Kajal Aggarwal. The film was scripted and directed by Balaji Mohan. The film was such big hit that it was later dubbed and released in Malayalam under the same title, in Telugu as 'Maas' in 2016 and Hindi as 'Rowdy Hero' in 2016. Meanwhile, 'Maari 2' will be produced by Dhanush himself. The film will also have Malayalam actor Tovino Thomas in a pivotal role. Sai Pallavi, who is a Malayalam actress will be playing the leading lady of the film. She is popularly known for her Malayalam film 'Premam'. The second installment of the film will release on December 28. Meanwhile, Prabhudeva has acted in several movies in the Tamil industry and has a few movies lined up for release this year. He has made special appearances in a dance sequence in several films that include 'Oh My God', 'R.. Rajkumar', 'Wanted', 'Rowdy Rathore' and in the very popular song 'Kay sera sera' where he collaborated with ace dancer-actor Madhuri Dixit.
