Maharashtra Election: Lara Dutta and Mahesh Bhupati cast their vote

Lara Dutta and her husband Mahesh Bhupati were spotted in Bandra as they cast their vote. Here are the pictures of the couple as they leave the polling booth.

Maharashtra elections are taking place in 288 Assembly constituencies with more than 3,200 candidates. The voting commenced on Monday at 7 am and will end at 6 pm. Bollywood actress Lara Dutta and her husband, former tennis player Mahesh Bhupati, were spotted at a polling booth in Bandra (West), where the two cast their vote. Lara Dutta took to her Instagram and urged the people in Mumbai to exercise their right to vote.

In the picture shared by ANI, Lara Dutta was seen wearing a yellow coloured dress with a red rose in her hair. Mahesh Bhupati kept it casual by wearing a light blue shirt and a pair of jeans. The two walked out of their polling booth in Bandra (West) and showed off their freshly-inked fingers. Lara and Mahesh smiled for the camera as they made their way out of the booth.

Lara Dutta posted a picture after casting the vote on her Instagram account. The Partner actress took to her social media to flaunt her inked finger. In the post, she also urged the people from Mumbai to vote. She hashtagged the post by asking people to vote responsibly and to bring out sustainable change.

Apart from Lara Dutta and Mahesh Bhupati, many Bollywood stars were seen leaving polling booth after casting their vote. Thugs of Hindostan actor Amir Khan and his wife Kiran Rao were also seen exercising their right to vote in a polling booth in Bandra (West). The Marjaavaan star Riteish Deshmukh and his wife, actor Genelia D’Souza Deshmukh were also spotted casting their vote in Latur. Madhuri Dixit was spotting exercising her right to vote as she was seen leaving the polling booth in Bandra (West).
