Bollywood actors Malaika Arora and Arjun Kapoor are one the most talked about couples in tinsel town. And while speculations are rife that the two will soon tie the knot between April 18- April 21st in Goa, where their families own houses, the actress has cleared the air about these rumours while speaking to a leading media publication and said, "there is no truth to these silly speculations". 

The speculations started when Malaika along with her few best friends jetted off to the Maldives, where Arjun Kapoor joined them too! After this incident, netizens were left wondering if this getaway was the actress' bachelorette or not. 

Prior to this, Arjun Kapoor's father was also asked about the couple's rumoured wedding but he went on to rubbish the reports, stating that nothing of the sort.  is happening.

When Arjun appeared on Koffee with Karan, he opened up about his personal life and confessed that he is now ready for marriage and settling down. He said: When Karan asked Arjun if he is ready to introduce his girlfriend to his family, the 33-year-old actor had replied, "It has to fall into place. There's a lot that's happened in the family in the last few months. A lot has happened in my life in the last few months that has given me perspective. The last six months have taught me more about life than I imagined. I was just doing the right thing at one point of time and then I realised it snowballed into something being more relevant and important in my life. I finally feel like I have a sense of belonging and a family."

This was also the first time he had opened up about his relationship status in front of the camera and confirmed that he was not 'single' anymore. 

On the professional front, Arjun has been sporting a different look these days because he is working on 'Panipat', directed by Ashutosh Gowariker. The film is based on the real events from the Indian history and Arjun plays the character of Sadashiv Rao Bhau, commander-in-chief of the Maratha expeditionary forces who fought Afghan King Ahmad Shah Abdali in 1761.
