Move over Anushka Sharma’s ‘crying Mamta’ meme, the internet meme machine has found a new favourite in the Aamir Khan starrer 'Thugs Of Hindostan'. Ever since the announcement of the film, there has been a lot of excitement going around about the film given it stars some of  Bollywood's eminent personalities such as Amitabh Bachchan Katrina Kaif and Fatima Sana Shaikh in lead roles. However, on Thursday, the makers of the film dropped the trailer of the film and one can say that the reaction is quite mixed. While many fans pointed out the uncanny resemblance the trailer has to the Hollywood film ' Pirates of the Caribbean', many were quite impressed by Aamir Khan and Amitabh Bachchan's trailer of 'Thugs of Hindostan'.

After unveiling the motion posters of all the 'Thugs' playing a pivotal role in the film, the makers have brought the characters to life through the trailer. The three-and-a-half minute trailer reveals the premise of the film and gives an insight into the characters that are set during the time British ruled India. From what one can make of the trailer, the film is about Azaad (Amitabh Bachchan) who comes across a brave old warrior who fights against the British soldiers. Amitabh Bachchan's hoarse voice and the well-written dialogues give a good appeal to the film. In the film, he is accompanied by Zafira (Fatima Sana Shaikh), who is playing the role of a fierce warrior. Apart from Bachchan and Fatima, the film stars Aamir Khan and Katrina Kaif in pivotal roles.
