Brahmastra director Ayan Mukerji is making sure to reveal small little details about his characters. After Ranbir Kapoor, Ayan now shares a beautiful picture of Alia Bhatt and himself with a heartwarming note of their story.

A few days back, Ayan posted an 'early look test' of Ranbir Kapoor from the film Brahmastra. Ayan calls Ranbir 'Rumy' who later became 'Shiva'. He wrote: "Rumi. 
First, he was Rumi. Rumi with long hair. This image is from an early look test for the movie. 
Rumi said, ‘Love is the bridge between you and everything...’, and that feeling is the foundation we started building the protagonist of this movie on... But then, there was new inspiration, newer thoughts... Dragon became Brahmāstra, we gave Ranbir a haircut, and Rumi became... Shiva.

As per media reports, the film is known to be a romantic-fairytale in a supernatural format. Initially, the film was titled 'Dragon', however, was later it was changed to 'Brahmastra' resonating with the ancient Indian beliefs. Backed by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions, the film is all set to hit the theatres on December 20, 2019.  

Talking about Kalank, featuring Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt, Sonakshi Sinha, Aditya Roy Kapur, Madhuri Dixit, and Sanjay Dutt in the lead, the film seems to be dealing with the conflict of love. 

The period drama set in the 1940s will be helmed by '2 States' director Abhishek Verman and will be jointly produced by Karan Johar, Sajid Nadiadwala, and Fox Star Studios. It is all set to hit the theatres on April 19, 2019.
