Further revealing the budget of 'Mission Mangal', Akshay said the movie was made in "Rs. 32 crores, and was shot in 32 days". Vidya Balan quickly adds in and says, "Jagan (the director) also gave us a 32-page script when he first met us." Kirti Kulhari adds, "3+2 is 5" (probably hinting at the total female leads in the film).

As everyone giggled over the 'numerology' aspect brought in by Kirti, Editor-in-chief Arnab Goswami asked Akshay Kumar, "The nation wants to know if you kept any commercial aspect in mind as you invested Rs. 32 crores in this?"

What happened post this needs to be watched in the video ABOVE where everyone burst out in laughter, Vidya Balan literally had a fit of laughter.

But on a serious note, answering the question, Akshay clarified: "I can also produce films like Rowdy Rathore or Singh is Kingg, where I can earn 3-4% more than this film. I do films like these because it gives me satisfaction. I enjoy films like 'Mission Mangal'. I told the entire starcast that I don't know how much the movie will do business but you will feel proud, is what I can assure."

In "Mission Mangal", Akshay plays the role of a scientist, who along with fellow colleagues spearheads India's mission to send a spacecraft to orbit Mars. The film, directed by Jagan Shakti, is based on real-life scientists, who contributed to India's first interplanetary expedition, Mars Orbiter Mission (MOM), launched by ISRO in 2013. The trailer of the movie has generated a lot of traction on social media. Other than Akshay Kumar, there are five more leading female actresses are in the film. The movie also stars veteran actor Dalip Tahil, Mohd Zeeshan Ayyub, and Sharat Saxena.
