Television and Bollywood actress Mouni Roy, who was last seen in 'Gold' opposite Akshay Kumar, has a lot of projects in her kitty. However, the 'Naagin' actress took some time out of her busy schedule and went back home to spend some quality time with her dear ones. The ' Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi' actress took to Instagram on August 24, 2018, and shared a heartwarming post for her 'Maa' and 'Chotto Bhai'. Mouni also tagged Ekta Kapoor and some of her close friends from the Television world like Sanjeeda Sheikh, Aashka Goradia, Aamna Sharif, to name a few. She asked them to share the reason as to why their home is special to them.

Ekta Kapoor's new series titled 'Home' will be streaming on her online streaming site, Alt Balaji and the first promo of the show released on August 24, 2018. The promo featured her father and veteran actor Jeetendra. 


On the professional front, 'Gold', which released on August 15, 2018, minted money at the box office and Mouni has also garnered a lot of appreciation from both the critics and the audience. Besides Akshay Kumar and Mouni Roy, the Reema Kagti directorial also starred  Kunal Kapoor, Vineet Kumar Singh, Amit Sadh, and Sunny Kaushal. This film was based on the true story of India winning its first Gold medal in 1948 Olympics. The actress will be seen next in Ayan Mukherjee's trilogy 'Brahmastra' starring Ranbir Kapoor, Amitabh Bachchan, Ali Bhatt and Akkineni Nagarjuna. Mouni will also be seen in a thriller film 'RAW- Romeo Akbar Walter' starring John Abraham in the lead and is directed by Robbie Grewal. Mouni will be also sharing screen space with Rajkummar Rao in 'Made In China'.
