Bollywood actress Nargis Fakhri refuted the reports that claimed that she is pregnant and slammed the publication house which shared the fake news.

Bollywood actress Nargis Fakhri refuted the reports that claimed she is pregnant and slammed the publication house which shared the fake news. A couple of days back, rumours flared on the internet suggesting that the actress is expecting a baby with beau Matt Alonzo. However, the Bollywood diva took to social media and slammed the organisation reporting the same and for promoting fake news and body shaming her.

In a series of Twitter posts, the actress expressed her disappointment and asked the organization to take the article down. On January 12, she penned the first post stating 'every word in this is a lie'. In the post, she wrote, "This is messed up. How can you write totally fake news & insulting me cuz I’ve gained weight- you are body shaming me. Whoever wrote this has no idea &every word in this is a lie. Get your facts checks."

The actress further slammed the reporter for not doing his job correctly and demanded an apology from him for body shaming her. She also asked the organization to take down the article from their online site. 

"I know absolutely absurd how these people can be allowed to inform the public about anything. How can we trust anything they write" the actress wrote in another post. 

The actress further shared a screenshot of the article on the micro-blogging site and wrote, "your reporter published lies and not only that he has also body shamed a person that may actually be suffering from an illness. Get your facts right before u publish."

Several fans and friends of the Bollywood diva came in support of the actress as they criticized the carelessness of the organization. In fact, Nargis's 'Main Tera Hero' co-star Ileana D'Cruz extended support to the actress. Commenting on her Twitter post,  Ileana wrote, "Good on you girl for taking them down!!! It’s despicable how some people can be so insensitive sometimes...sending you a big hug"

Meanwhile, on the work front, Nargis is gearing up for the release of her horror-thriller film 'Amavas' which also stars Sachiin Joshi in the lead. The film is directed by Bhushan Patel and is scheduled to hit the theatres on February 1, 2019.
