National Award 2019: Netflix's Funny Comment On 'AndhaDhun' Winning Has A Radhika Apte 'omnipresent' Connection

Remember when back in 2018, Radhika Apte was trolled on social media for featuring in three Netflix releases - 'Lust Stories', 'Sacred Games' and 'Ghoul'. And all three of them released around the same time.

Well, looks like the pattern just got repeated as National Award winner list was announced on Friday where two films featuring Radhika Apte - 'Andhadhun' and 'Padman' won awards. And Netflix India was quick to congratulate the 'Andhadhun' team but didn't fail to mention Radhika Apte's presence in it, which inturn took us back to her 'omnipresent' video.

To rewind your memories, take a look at the 'Omnipresent' video that Netflix India captioned as: "Whatever the role, Radhika apt hai." In the video, she says: "Vik ('Ghoul' producer Vikramaditya Motwane) calls me one day and says that Radhika what if you play every character in this film. That got my attention. Because that is a challenge I cannot turn down."

"Andhadhun" won awards for best Hindi film and best-adapted screenplay. Akshay Kumar-starrer "Padman" was named the best film on social issues.
