Nawazuddin Siddiqui is 'looking forward' to star in Mostofa Sarwar Farooki's international venture 'No Land's Man'

On Thursday, April 4, actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui announced that he will be starring in an international venture which will be an adaptation of Aasif Mandvi's book 'No Land's Man'.

From 'Thackeray' to 'Photograph' it has been quite a year for Nawazuddin Siddiqui. Now, on Thursday, April 4, the actor announced that he will be starring in yet another venture which will be an adaptation of Aasif Mandvi's book No Land's Man. The actor in an Instagram post revealed that he has collaborated with Bangladeshi filmmaker Mostofa Sarwar Farooki for the international project.

Sharing a photograph of himself and thanking the director for the opportunity in the post, the 'Manto' actor wrote, "The most coveted script “No Land’s Man” is finally going to be made into a film. Thank you Mostofa Sarwar Farooki for the opportunity. Looking forward."

As per media reports, while talking about the plot of the film in a recent interview Nawaz had reportedly said that it explores today’s strange world, with strong humour, satire, and emotion. He said he was very much impressed by the concept of the film and just said yes to the project. 

The film which will reportedly be shot in English is currently in the pre-production phase and is scheduled go on floors later this year. Meanwhile, Mandvi's 'No Land’s Man' tells the story of a South Asian man who falls for an Australian girl in the USA. 

Meanwhile, on the work front, Nawazuddin Siddiqui is all set to share screen space with 'Gold' actress Mouni Roy for his upcoming film 'Bole Chudiyan'. It will be helmed by  Shamas Siddiqui and will be produced by Rajesh Bhatia and Kiran Bhatia.

Confirming the news of the making of the film, the 'Gangs of Wasseypur 2' actor shared a behind the scene picture from the sets of the film last month. It featured him and Mouni and Nawazuddin captioned the post saying, "I am really excited to work with the very beautiful and talented @roymouni Hope to spread some fragrance of romance on screen #BoleChudiyan"
