Nawazuddin Siddiqui may be riding high on the praises of his recent performance in Nandita Das's 'Manto' but the actor yet another feather to add to his cap and it's nothing his fans could have guessed. 

In recent state of affairs, Nawazuddin Siddiqui is seen joining the bandwagon of slam poets of our country who have managed to create a niche for themselves in just a short span of time. A picture doing rounds of social media sees the 'Gangs Of Wasseypur' actor performing poetry in all his glory. 'Unerase Poetry' that has been giving voice to social impact through spoken words is back with yet another poem starring none other than the 'Manto' actor Nawaz. The actor, who has received rave reviews for his portrayal of Saadat Hasan Manto in the directorial venture of Nandita Das will be seen delivering an impeccable performance soon. While not much has been revealed about the event, looks like fans of the star will have to wait for an update from the horse's mouth itself or follow his social media handles for the same. On workfront, Nawazuddin Siddiqui's most anticipated film, 'Manto' has been traveling around the globe. Recently, a special screening of the film was held for the industry insiders and those who attended it was all praises for Nawaz. They couldn't stop complimenting him for pulling off another stellar character with panache.

According to popular reports, Nandita is trying to get late Urdu writer Saadat Hasan Manto’s daughters, Nighat Patel, Nuzhat Arshad and Nusrat Jalal, to India for the premiere of her film 'Manto'. According to reports, she has approached the Indian High Commission in Islamabad to facilitate the visas so that they can attend the Indian premiere of the film, which traces the life of the writer. 

The film helmed by Nandita Das features an impressive ensemble of actors which also includes Rasika Duggal, Rajshri Deshpande, Rishi Kapoor and Paresh Rawal. The actor will also be seen yet another strong character in his next 'Thackeray' which is based on the Shiv Sen Supremo Bal Thackeray.
