Nawazuddin Siddiqui's 'Photograph' to be screened at the 69th Berlin International Film Festival

Bollywood actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui's upcoming film 'Photograph' is all set to be screened at the 69th Berlin International Film Festival. The actor who is super-excited about his upcoming venture took to social media to announce the news. In a Twitter post, the actor revealed that the film, which also stars 'Dangal' actress Sanya Malhotra in the lead, is selected for the Berlinale 2019, which will take place from February 7 to 17. The 44-year-old further thanked Ritesh "for doing this wonder & @sanyamalhotra07 for being a wonderful part of this."

'Photograph' is helmed by filmmaker Ritesh Batra and will have its world premiere at the Sundance Film Festival 2019. It is set to hit the theatres on March 8.

Nawaz shared a picture featuring him and Sanya on Twitter where both of them can be seen enjoying a public bus ride. While the actor can be seen posing with the clapboard of the film, the Bollywood diva can be seen busy clicking his picture. He captioned the picture saying, "Super Excited to inform you all that after being officially selected at the prestigious #SundanceFilmFestival2019 my film #photograph will also be screened at the #berlinale2019 Thank You @riteshbatra for doing this wonder & @sanyamalhotra07 for being a wonderful part of this."

Meanwhile, Nawazuddin Siddiqui is all set to star in upcoming political drama 'Thackrey' where he will be featured as 'Shiv Sena' founder Bal Thackeray. The biopic has been making the headlines ever since the film was announced as it narrates the story of the renowned political leader. Actress Amrita Rao, who will also play a pivotal role in the film, will be featured as Meena Tai Thackeray, wife of the Bal Thackeray.

The film has been directed by Abhijit Panse and written and produced by Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut and Shrikant Bhasi along with Viacom Motion Pictures. The movie will hit the screens on January 25, two days after the birth anniversary of Bal Thackeray.
