Rishi Kapoor was a part of one of the first turning points of Shah Rukh Khan’s career, his debut film ‘Deewana’. SRK was only a debutant and Kapoor an established star then. Even as ‘King Khan’ established himself as one of the biggest stars of Bollywood in the last 27 years, Kapoor is still very much around and giving praiseworthy performances galore. The duo recently met in the USA, but it was the veteran’s actor-wife Neetu's post for the 'DDLJ' star, calling him a ‘real human being’ and admiring his ‘rare quality’ of making people feel good about themselves, is winning hearts.
Sharing a selfie clicked by Shah Rukh as he poses with the Kapoors, Neetu wrote, “To make pple feel good about themselves is a rare quality!!! Shahrukh is all of that his love care is so so genuine !!! besides his amazing work I admire him as a very good and a real human being.” (sic)
Shah Rukh recently travelled to the USA to shoot for veteran talk show host David Letterman’s ‘My Next Guest Needs No Introduction’. And the actor made sure he met Kapoor, who is recovering well from cancer, for close to a year in USA.
Earlier, the ‘Chak De! India’ star had taken wife Gauri and daughter Suhana along to meet Kapoor.
In the past few days, Deepika Padukone and Vicky Kaushal also paid the Kapoors a visit.
Rishi Kapoor’s brother Randhir Kapoor had confirmed that the former is almost cancer-free. The ‘Mulk’ actor also thanked his family during the tough period, particularly Neetu for standing by him ‘like a rock’. Ranbir also recently revealed that his father would return in a month or two.
