The news was confirmed by CINTAA on its official Twitter handle .

In a press conference on October 17, CINTAA had earlier asserted that it plans to take strong action against the actor. The organisation had previously sent a notice to Nath after allegations of sexual harassment surfaced against him. He had replied to the notice by denying all the allegations and calling it ‘false’.

‘90s TV producer-director Vinta Nanda had accused Nath of raping her close to twenty years ago. She even filed a police complaint against him and approached the National Commission For Women to get justice. Vinta had also written to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi requesting help in the matter. Nath had meanwhile lodged a defamation suit against Nanda later on.
