As the 'Me Too' movement gains momentum in India, several women have mustered the courage to come out and point out the sexual predators. Several eminent personalities from the Indian film industry have been named including Alok Nath, Rajat Kapoor, Varun Grover, Karim Morani and Vikas Bahl to name a few. The most recent name to have been dragged into the campaign is that of director Sajid Khan.
On Friday, October 12, Akshay Kumar put out a statement on Twitter requesting the producers of 'Housefull 4' to cancel the shoot until further investigation. His request for the same comes in after director Sajid Khan was accused of sexual misconduct.
In his statement, Akshay Kumar wrote, "I've just landed back in the country last night and reading all the news has been very disturbing. I've requested the producers of Housefull 4 to cancel the shoot until further investigation. This is something that requires stringent action. I will not work with any proven offenders and all those who have been subjugated to harassment should be heard and given the justice they deserve."

Filmmaker Sajid Khan has become the latest name to be called out during the ongoing 'Me Too' movement that has taken the country by storm. Recently, a journalist took to Twitter and gave a first-hand account of the harassment she faced during an ongoing interview. Narrating the details of the day the incident took place, which left her humiliated, she said that Sajid Khan had invited her to his house that he shared with his sister back in the 2000s. Through the interview, he talked about how he knew how to satisfy women, which was ignored by the woman. The woman also said that when the filmmaker got up to show her hi DVD collection, he returned with his P*** out. Recalling the horrific incident, the journalist revealed that as she tried to find her way out, the filmmaker allegedly blocked her for leaving.
