Farah Khan reacted to allegations made on brother Sajid Khan. The 'Housefull 4' director has been accused of sexual harassment by a journalist

The #MeToo campaign that has ignited in India has given woman the strength and courage to speak up against sexual perpetrators. In the wake of the campaign names of  several popular Bollywood artists including directors, actors and producers have surfaced. Director Sajid Khan too has been accused of sexual misconduct by a journalist. 

Reacting to the allegations, Sajid Khan's sister director-choreographer Farah Khan said, "This is a heartbreaking time for my family.We have to work through some very difficult issues. If my brother has behaved in this manner he has a lot to atone for.I don’t in any way endorse this behavior and Stand in solidarity with any woman who has been hurt."

On Thursday, a journalist accused the director of ‘Housefull 4’,Sajid Khan of sexual harassment. In a post on Twitter, she said, “ Thru the interview he talked about how large his p**** is & how he knew how to satisfy a woman. I ignored his trash talk & got back on track w/ my interview. He walked out of the room to show me some DVD from his collection. When he returned, his p**** was out. I got up to leave immediately only to find him blocking the way out. And, he forced his tongue down my throat. I pushed him away and ran out."

The journalist further went on to narrate yet another incident with Sajid Khan that left her humiliated. In her second meeting with the director she had allegedly warned him of behaving himself. To this, she wrote, " I'll never forget what he said to me "You are fatter than you used to be. I won't touch you with a barge pole." And then he laughed.”

Responding to the allegations made on him, the 'Housefull' director said, "In the wake of the allegations against me & the pressure being put on my family, my producer n the stars of my film Houseful4, i must take the moral responsibility of stepping down from my directorial post, till the time i can allay the allegations and prove the truth.. I request my friends in the media to kindly not pass judgement till the truth is out”. 

Akshay Kumar, the lead actor of 'Housefull 4' cancelled the shoot of the film, until the court makes a decision.
