#MeToo: Journalist Accuses Filmmaker-Actor Rajat Kapoor Of Sexual Misconduct, Says He Asked Her Body Measurements

The Hindi film industry has witnessed a massive storm in the last couple of weeks after actress Tanushree Dutta accused veteran actor Nana Patekar of misconduct on the sets of the 2008 film 'Horn OK Pleassss' while filming for a dance sequence. Tanushree's revelation has become an eye-opener moment for Bollywood, and other people from the film and the entertainment industry are coming out with their unfortunate experience of sexual misbehaviour.

With the victims coming forward, the culprits are being exposed. Post Nana Patekar, a former Phantom employee levelled charges against Queen director 'Vikas Bahl' for sexual harassment followed by singer Kailash Kher being accused for misconduct.  Now, in a shocking turn of events, actor and filmmaker Rajat Kapoor has been accused of misconduct.

Journalist Sandhya Menon recently shared a post, wherein two women had accused the 'Kapoor & Sons' actor of misconduct. One of the two women is a journalist, who stated that while she was interviewing Rajat Kapoor on the phone, he misbehaved and asked her questions such as 'are you as sexy as you sound', also inquired about her body measurements.

Another woman narrated an incident where the actor would keep bothering her and calling her for a film's shoot and asked her if she knew an empty house. Apparently, Rajat wanted to shoot a film with her in an empty house.

Now, responding to these allegations, Rajat Kapoor issued an apology on Twitter. Here's the tweet: 


He further wrote,

Victims of sexual harassment in India are finally speaking up and looks like the #MeToo movement of India has officially begun and it's not going to spare any of the wrong-doers.
