#MeToo: When Sajid Khan Revealed That He Treated Women Badly

A throwback video of Sajid Khan in an interview with Bollywood Hungama is doing the rounds. In the video, Sajid Khan can be heard calling himself 'a big dog' in his 20s who treated women badly.

In the wake of the ongoing Me Too movement, several eminent Bollywood personalities like Vikas Bahl, Alok Nath, Karim Morani, and Subhash Ghai to name a few have been accused of alleged sexual harassment. Last week, assistant director Saloni Chopra accused 'Housefull 4' director Sajid Khan of alleged sexual assault and post the accusation, he stepped aside from the film 'Housefull 4' which is now being helmed by Farhad Samji.

In the midst of the controversy, a shocking video of Sajid Khan has been doing the rounds. It is a throwback video of Sajid in an interview with Bollywood Hungama where he had revealed that he had ill-treated and cheated women. 

The director openly talks about breaking hearts and being a dog to women. He admitted on being in and out of many relationships in his twenties and ill-treating women. He was asked about being stable in a relationship and he said he does not want to be anymore since he is in his forties. He said, “I have been in and out of so many relationships. I was a big dog in my 20s says he was a 'Kamina aadmi'. I have broken a lot of hearts, like most of the boys. But I was in television and I was getting brash with success. I was treating women very badly, all the nice girls I have treated badly in my twenties.”

Speaking of the allegations against Sajid, his sister director-choreographer Farah Khan backed the victim and said, "This is a heartbreaking time for my family. We have to work through some very difficult issues. If my brother has behaved in this manner he has a lot to atone for. I don’t in any way endorse this behavior and Stand in solidarity with any woman who has been hurt."

Responding to the allegations made on him, the 'Housefull' director said, "In the wake of the allegations against me & the pressure being put on my family, my producer n the stars of my film 'Housefull 4', I must take the moral responsibility of stepping down from my directorial post, till the time I can allay the allegations and prove the truth.. I request my friends in the media to kindly not pass judgment till the truth is out”.
