In a shocking turn of events, Sushant Singh Rajput has been accused of misconduct with co-star Sanjana Sanghi on the sets of 'Kizzie Aur Manny'. Reportedly he made the actress uncomfortable and passed flirtatious comment while the actress disagreed with his behaviour.
If reports are to be believed she even complained to Mukesh Chhabra, who is all set to make his directorial debut with the film but the director brushed it all under the carpet. Ever since allegations against Sushant Singh Rajput have surfaced, fans are reacting harshly to it. Director Mukesh Chhabra came out in support of the actor over Sanjana Sanghi and wrote,
''I totally stand by @itsSSR - no such incident happened on the sets and let's not have a Twitter trial and make an innocent person suffer for somebody else's ulterior motives I had clarified this on twitter long back and I still maintain it.''
Mukesh Chabbra himself has been accused of alleged sexual harassment by four women. One of the four women who accused Mukesh of sexual misconduct was quoted as saying that he grabbed her hand and felt her upon in the name of showing her how a scene needed to be done. Post sexual harassment allegations casting director Mukesh Chhabra has been replaced with another film professional on the India Film Project Panel.
Mukesh Chabbra, however, denied all such allegations in a post on Twitter. He stated that it is unfortunate that all his hard work has been muzzled with a series of anonymous allegations. He further stated that the complaint should have first been sent to an ICC committee for investigation.
Here are Chhabra's posts on the allegations:
