Sonali Bendre has been an inspiration to many with her smile and positive attitude while battling cancer. One of the striking moments from her journey with the disease has been how happily she has shown her bald head after losing hair post-chemotherapy sessions. And now, the actress who returned from New York a few weeks back has shared a new picture where she can be seen dressed in hospital clothes, with a drip in her hands, and flashing that gorgeous smile of hers to the camera. 

Posting the picture on Instagram, she wrote, “Another kind of outfit and another kind of accessory... just a small pit stop from the roller coaster we call life! Back home and back to #MyNewNormal #OneDayAtATime #SwitchOnTheSunshine.”

Sonali, who was diagnosed with high-grade metastatic cancer, had announced it in July before heading to USA for treatment. While she had sported a wig in her first social media post after the diagnosis, a few days later she had shown how 'bald is beautiful' in a snap with close friends Sussanne Khan and ‘Swades’ actress Gayatri Joshi.
