Bollywood actors Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone are known for being one of the cutest couples in industry. The pair who had tied the knot in November last year has been setting major couple goals ever since.
The celebrity couple who is flooding the social media with their cute and cheeky comments on each other's posts lately won the hearts of the netizens yet again as Ranveer shared pictures from the launch event of Deepika's Madame Tussauds wax statue in London and paired it up with a funny yet loving message.
The actor who never gets tired of wooing his wife captioned the post saying, "DP 2.0! Original तो ... मेरे पास है! ;) #twomuchtohandle@deepikapadukone @madametussauds"
Here's the post:
On Tuesday, Deepika and Ranveer flew all the way to London to unveil the actresses' effigy. They were accompanied by their parents for the celebration.
The wax statue is no less stunning than the Bollywood diva herself. Madame Tussauds recreated Deepika's 2016 IIFA Awards look, donning a champagne-colored cape lehenga designed by Sabyasachi Mukherjee and a thin diamond and emerald necklace.
While the 'Om Shanti Om' actress was absolutely spellbound to see her wax-figurine, Ranveer was heard describing it as 'gorgeous'. He was also later heard asking if he can take it home, to which Deepika replied saying, "I think when you here shooting for 83 and you miss me too much you can come here."
Newlyweds Ranveer and Deepika have been setting major relationship goals both with their on and off screen chemistry ever since they shared the screen space in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela'. The pair tied the knot in a private ceremony in Lake Como, Italy, and the event was attended by their family and close associates. They have also hosted a number of bash for their celebrity friends and colleagues in Mumbai and Bangalore following the same.
On the work front, Ranveer is currently shooting for upcoming sports drama '83'. The Kabir Khan directorial is based on Indian Cricket Team's world cup win in 1983 under the captainship of Kapil Dev. As per media reports, the actor will portray the veteran cricketer on-screen.
Meanwhile, Deepika Padukone is all set to play the role of an acid attack survivor in Meghna Gulzar's upcoming project 'Chappak'. The project also stars 'Half Girlfriend' actor Vikrant Massey. Moreover, if reports are believed Ranveer and Deepika are all set to share the screen space again in Kabir Khan's upcoming sports drama '83'. However, there is no confirmation on the same.
