The film is still one of the most loved films. But with changing times, several have also raised doubts about the validity of the story with respect to morals. Speaking to the audience at the event, Shah Rukh shared that AbRam hasn't seen this film yet and that this is the first time he has accompanied him for an event and his first introduction to the world of cinema is 'Kuch Kuch Hota Hai'.

"Now I find it quite creepy, you know, especially the scene where I am hugging a girl and holding her lustfully and very cheaply looking at a girl whose sari pallu flies in the air. It seemed really wrong," he said. Both Karan and Shah Rukh later joked about the fact how scenes from the film now stand very wrong.
