On The Occasion Of Deepika Padukone's Birthday, Here Are The Top Three Cutest Nicknames Given To Her By Ranveer Singh

Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone tied the knot with her longtime boyfriend Ranveer Singh in November 2018. The actor is known for speaking his mind and for being quite flamboyant in nature. At every chat show and event, Singh has come across as being overwhelmingly smitten with Deepika Padukone and has also referred to her with cute nicknames. And so on the occasion of Padukone's 33rd birthday, here are the top three nicknames Singh has called his loving wife. 

1. 'Hummingbird' 

On 'Koffee with Karan' season 5, the talk show host Johar asked Ranveer Singh – When asked what kind of pet his fiance Deepika Padukone would be? And the actor was quick to respond by saying: “She’s my hummingbird.”. Now isn't that adorable? 

2. 'Superpower'

Ranveer Singh recently dropped the teaser of 'Gully Boy', which one can say is a mini-trailer in itself. The response to the clip has been commendable, with the audience and critics lauding Ranveer for his talent and versatility. With the comment section of the post overflowing, the comment that stood out was of Deepika Padukone's who had said 'You are unstoppable', to which Singh replied back saying 'You are my superpower'.

3. 'Yin'

During an event, while speaking about Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh had stated that she was the 'Yin to his Yang'. It was also the same event, where the two danced on 'Khali Bali' from the film 'Padmaavat'.

On the work front, Ranveer Singh is currently riding high on the success of 'Simmba' that has minted over Rs 150 crores at the box office. Apart from him, the film also stars Sara Ali Khan.

As for Deepika Padukone, she will be seen playing the role of an acid attack survivor in Meghna Gulzar's next. The film is based on an acid attack survivor named Laxmi Agarwal.

The actress had earlier said in a statement how Laxmi's 'moving' story, which she described as 'strength, courage, hope, and victory,' had a 'massive impact' on her and how it even prompted her to go beyond the creative and turn a producer with the movie.
