Panipat song Mard Maratha is a high-energy track with Maratha flavour

Arjun Kapoor's upcoming movie Panipat has already created a lot of buzz right after its trailer came out. Now the lead actor Arjun Kapoor has just shared the first song from the movie Mard Maratha. The audiences were already excited to witness the first song of the movie since its announcement and the song is available on all streaming platforms.

Ashutosh Gowarikar's upcoming war epic Panipat will feature many talented actors from the Bollywood industry and is undoubtedly one of the most anticipated movies of the year. With huge historical settings and majestic sets as seen in the trailer of the movie already captivated the audiences and now its first song Mard Maratha has created more excitement among the fans and followers.

From the video of the song, it can be made out that the song is shot on an extensive scale with a beautiful massive set with a replete of Peshwai ambience. The background is seen to have a huge Ganesh idol along with 1300 background dancers which also includes lezim dancers from Pune. The song also features authentic bull dancers and the Maratha tradition is showcased with perfection.

The song is choreographed by Raju Khan and it took 13 days to shoot the whole song. Art director Nitin Desai constructed the massive beautiful Shaniwar Wada set in Karjat for the song. Mard Maratha song is a refreshing song that has a mix Hindi-Marathi feel to it. The song features some pivotal actors from the movie like Arjun Kapoor, Kriti Sanon. Mohnish Behl, Padmini Kolhapure and the song is composed by the very famous duo Ajay-Atul. The duo is famous for its unique music contributions to the Bollywood industry.

Speaking to a leading daily the duo said that the song is high energy track with a traditional flavour to it. The duo said that they wanted to create a song that has a traditional touch to it and it celebrates the richness of Maratha regime. On the same time, it should have high-energy so that it can be enjoyed by all types of audiences regardless of age and taste in music. So keeping all this in mind they came up with the high energy track Mard Maratha that appeals to everyone.

Further, the duo mentioned that the energy of the song and the way Ashutosh Gowarikar shot it brings out the forgotten opulence of the Maratha regime and it is a visual treat to eyes. The movie is based on the third battle of Panipat and will hit the theatres on December 6, 2019.
