Parineeti Chopra prepping hard for the Saina Nehwal biopic, shares a post-training picture

From 'The Accidental Prime Minister' to 'PM Narendra Modi' 2019 has been a year of interesting biopics. It is also a good year for sports dramas with Ranveer Singh's '83' and the Saina Nehwal biopic in making.

Actress Parineeti Chopra who is training hard for the Saina Nehwal biopic recently shared a BTS picture where he can be seen enjoying the post-training bliss. The actress shared a picture of herself on Instagram where she can be seen sitting on the floor with shutter and cork by her side. She captioned the post saying, "Post training bliss! 🏸 #Saina"

The Saina Nehwal biopic will be helmed by 'Taare Zameen Par' director Amole Gupte and will be produced by Bhushan Kumar under the banner of T-series. The makers began filming the biopic on September 22. 

Previously, actress Shraddha Kapoor was roped for the role however, she recently opted out of the film after two-year of prep for the film.

There were a number of controversies to why she left the project midway. Several reports claimed Shraddha struggled to look convincing for the role, the director was upset with her for giving not enough time for the film amid her multiple ventures and even that the movie got stalled or shelved. However, the director and the producers had either denied them or not reacted to them at all.
