Bollywood actress Parineeti Chopra took to Instagram on Sunday, December 20 and shared a picture where she can be seen greeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the National Museum of Indian Cinema in Mumbai on Saturday, January 19. The event was attended by Union Minister Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore and Central Board of Film Certification chief Prasoon Joshi, among other dignitaries.

Several A-listers from Bollywood including Asha Bhosle, AR Rahman, Randhir Kapoor, Aamir Khan, Parineeti Chopra, Karan Johar, Kangana Ranaut, Ramesh Sippy, Rohit Shetty, Randhir Kapoor, Boney Kapoor, Raj Kumar Santoshi, Jeetendra, Aanand L Rai, Badshah, Gauri Shinde, Asha Parekh, Divya Dutta, Poonam Dhillon, Imtiaz Ali, and Kunal Kohli, and others, were spotted attending the event. Joining the bandwagon was Bollywood actress Parineeti Chopra, who posted a picture with the honourary PM on social media following the meeting.

The actress took to Instagram on Sunday, December 20 and shared a picture where she can be seen greeting the Prime Minister. Bollywood actor Kartik Aaryan, rapper Badshah and filmmaker Rohit Shetty were also spotted in the frame. She captioned the post saying, "An honour yesterday 🙏 @narendramodi"

While giving his speech addressing the film fraternity, Prime Minister Narendra Modi drew reference from Vicky Kaushal's latest film 'Uri: The Surgical Strike as he quoted the iconic slogan, 'How's the Josh?' The country chief's move was cheered with a huge round of applause by the audience as they can be heard replying to it saying "High Sir!"

Previously, PM Modi had attended Parineeti's cousin sister global icon Priyanka Chopra's wedding reception in Delhi as she tied the knot with American vocalist Nick Jonas last December.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Parineeti who was last featured in Vipul Amrutlal Shah's 'Namaste England', has started shooting for her upcoming venture 'Kesari' which also stars Akshay Kumar in the lead role. The period war drama film is directed by Anurag Singh and it tells the story of Havildar Ishar Singh who participates in the Battle of Saragarhi (in which an army of 21 Sikhs fought against 10,000 Afghans in 1897) while yearning for the respect of his estranged daughter. The film is scheduled for release on March 22, 2019.
