Parineeti Chopra's four popular hindi movies to date

Parineeti Chopra is an Indian film actress and singer who appears in Hindi films. Born on October 22, 1988, Parineeti initially aspired to pursue a career in investment banking but returned to India after completing a triple honours degree in business, finance, and economics from Manchester Business School. She returned to India during the 2009 economic recession and joined Yash Raj Films as a public relation consultant. She made her Bollywood debut with the company’s 2011 romantic comedy Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl. She won the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut for the film. Parineeti continued to gain the applaud for her starring roles in some amazing films.

1.      Ishaqzaade (2012)

Ishaqzaade is a romantic-thriller film written and directed by Habib Faisal and produced by Aditya Chopra under Yash Raj Films (YRF) banner. It was debutant Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra’s first lead role in the film. The plot of the film shows a boy and a girl from two different religions who share a forbidden romance while fighting for the political supremacy of their respective families. The film ends up with an on-screen message of how lovers like them are killed or separated for falling in love with the person out of their caste/religion.

2.      Hasee Toh Phasee (2014)

It is a romantic-comedy dramatic film directed by Vinil Mathew and produced by Karan Johar and Anurag Kashyap. The film features Siddharth Malhotra, Parineeti Chopra, and Adah Sharma in pivotal roles. When it was released, the film received critical acclaim from critics and positive reviews from the audience alike. Hasee Toh Phasee is like every other Bollywood romantic drama with a happy ending.

3.      Kesari (2019)

Kesari also stars Akshay Kumar in the lead role and is a Hindi action-war film directed by Anurag Singh and produced by Karan Johar. Kesari follows the series of events leading to the battle of Saragarhi. It was the battle between 21 soldiers of the 36th Sikhs of the British Indian Army and 10,000 Afridi and Orakzai Pashtun tribesmen in 1897. The film found a place in the highest-grossing Bollywood films of 2019.

 

4.      Shuddh Desi Romance (2013)

It is the 2013 Indian romantic-comedy-drama film directed by Maneesh Sharma and produced by Aditya Chopra. Along with Parineeti Chopra, Shuddh Desi Romance also stars Sushant Singh Rajput and Vaani Kapoor in lead roles. The film tells the journey of three restless youngsters who reject society’s syllabus for finding love and decide to follow their heart. The film was hit at the box office and was also screened in the Gala presentation section of the 2013 Toronto International Film Festival.
