Parineeti Chopra who has stepped into the shoes of Emily Blunt for her latest 'The Girl on The Train' recently dropped the first look of the Hollywood remake and looking at it one can say that it is as intense as it gets! The storyline is based on Paula Hawkin's 2015 bestseller, 'The Girl on The Train', and revolves around an raging alcoholic who has suffered abuse and is embroiled around a murder mystery. In the poster, Parineeti Chopra's character appears to be bruised with a head injury and blood can be seen dripping down her face. Sharing the first look, Parineeti wrote, "Something I've never done before. And the most difficult character I have ever played in my life."

PARINEETI CHOPRA OPENS UP ABOUT DEPRESSION 

Stating that it was during 2015, when her two films that released back to back, ' Daawat-e-Ishq' and 'Kill Dil', did not work, she said that she had 'nothing positive to look forward too.". "I went into a shell. I stopped eating, I stopped sleeping well. I did not have any friends at that time. I never used to meet people. The people I was in touch with, I cut off from everyone, including my family. I would talk to them once in two weeks. I was gone... finished. I remember feeling like a zombie and crying 10 times a day. " she added. 

The interview was taken when she was promoting 'Jabariya Jodi' along with co-star Sidharth Malhotra

On the professional front, Parineeti Chopra was last seen sharing screen space with Sidharth Malhotra in 'Jabriya Jodi'. The film ever since its release failed to impress the audiences and critics, thus tanking at the box office.
