'Playing such roles surely takes a toll on me': Taapsee Pannu reveals she was getting 'borderline depressed' shooting for 'Game Over'

Bollywood actress Taapsee Pannu recently revealed that she was getting borderline depressed shooting for her latest psychological thriller film 'Game Over'

With films like 'Pink', 'Badla', and 'Manmarziyaan', Bollywood actor Taapsee Pannu has proved herself to be one of the most versatile actresses' of the industry. Her last outing 'Game Over' recently has hit the big screens and have been widely lauded by the audience. The actress who is known for her convincing acting leaves no stones unturned to fit into the character. However, she recently revealed that during the filming of the same, she was getting borderline depressed. 

While talking about the filming of the psycho-triller in a recent interview, she said as a part of the prep, she had to keep thinking about my biggest fears repeatedly for 35 days, for 12 hours daily which was quite emotionally exhausting for her and it took a toll on me.

However, she said, to fit in the skin of the character she played in the film she had to go through the process. She had to understand how the character who has gone through a dark incident reacts after one year.

For support, the actress revealed that she used to call her sister who she described as her 'only bouncing board'. 

'Game Over' which is a Hindi remake of Taapsee's Tamil-Telugu bilingual film of the same name narrates a gripping tale of a game designer Swapna, who is on a turbulent road to recovery from an incident that scarred her deeply.

While Ashwin Saravanan has directed the project, Taapsee collaborated with her 'Manmarziyaan' director Anurag Kashyap's Y Not Studios and Reliance Entertainment for the production of the film. It has hit the theaters on June 14.
