Not long ago, it was announced that a biopic on Prime Minister Narendra Modi is in the works. Starring Vivek Anand Oberoi, the film's first poster was launched in a grand manner by Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis. Now, the project is finally underway in an official capacity.
Taking to Twitter, director Omung Kumar shared the first picture from the set with lead actor Vivek as they hold a clapboard with the film's name 'PM Narendra Modi' written on it. He captioned the click as, "A new beginning... ‘PM NARENDRA MODI’ film starts today. Need all your blessings @vivekoberoi in as #PMNarendraModi Produced by Suresh Oberoi and @sandipssingh".
The shooting for the film has started in Ahmedabad and it will be subsequently shot in various parts of Gujarat. Not only that but recently Boman Irani and Darshan Kumaar were also roped in to play a crucial role in the film.
To recap, Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis also had a lot to say about the film during the poster launch. Expressing his excitement he had said, "I believe that today a new history is beginning through this poster launch. Bharat has, in this century, given birth to a global leader. On his life, a film is being made, I believe that this very thought is great in and of itself."
