"Pregnancy Is No Reason To Sit At Home," Says Neha Dhupia

Neha Dhupia and her husband Angad Bedi sprung another surprise on their fans when they announced the news of Neha's pregnancy on Friday, August 24. Soon, wishes started pouring in for the parents-to-be. The very next day Neha Dhupia and Angad Bedi walked the ramp on the fourth day of Lakme Fashion Week. The adorable couple walked the ramp for her friend, designer Payal Singha with Neha flaunting her baby bump and left the fans of the couple awe-struck.  

Neha admits that this particular walk on the ramp will be the most memorable one and would someday want to show it to her child in the future. Interacting with media after the show Neha said,

"It is going to be the most memorable walk ever for me and Angad. I am going to make sure to tap into all the footage, of all these videos that you are taking. In a few years, whenever he or she can, I will be like you have already made your debut on the ramp. I am really looking forward to it." 

Neha also had a piece of advice for all the pregnant ladies. Asking them not to skip work because of pregnancy, Neha said,

"I promise you it is the sweetest feeling ever. And it is so wonderful to see women come to work with their pregnancy. It is so empowering. I just want to tell everyone out there that this is no reason to sit at home and you should just come out and work every day. Make your child already ready for it and feel special, that's the most important thing. It will definitely be the most memorable walk for me and hopefully for Angad as well."

Obviously, the news of Neha's pregnancy was as surprising as her wedding, which was announced to the world at the last moment. Neha promises that no more surprises in store for this year at least. "I promise you we don't have any more surprises or shocks this year. Whatever we had, has already been out. Its been a special year and What's amazing is, whether it is media or the social media fans, they all been so wonderful," said Neha.

Talking about Angad's reaction to the good news, Neha is sure that Angad will be as good a father just how he is a good husband. "His (Angad's) reaction was really amazing. I have to say, he is going to make a rock-solid father, because he is a rock solid husband and in every aspect, he is so respectful with a great set of values. And I have only seen him around our nieces and nephews and he is so wonderful. I can't wait to see him change diapers," said Neha

Neha Bedi and Angad Bedi married each other on May 10 in an intimate Anand Karaj ceremony held in a Gurudwara in New Delhi.
