The Preity Zinta and Saif Ali Khan starrer, 'Salaam Namaste' completed 13 years recently and the actress was reminiscing her time on the sets of the film. Preity took to Instagram to share a throwback video from the film. In the caption, the 'Veer‑Zaara' actress revealed that she wanted to kill her co-star Saif on the sets. Preity wrote, "Awwww !!! We had so much fun on this film it was insane. Saif and I fought so much on and off camera that the crew didn’t know if we were rehearsing our lines or really wanting to kill each other 🤩 I miss Saif! 😘 #13YearsOfSalaamNamaste #SaifAliKhan #Nick #Amber #Ting!"


Helmed by Siddharth Anand the 2005 romantic comedy was shot in Melbourne, Australia. 'Salaam Namaste', which starred Saif Ali Khan and Preity Zinta shined at the box office. In addition to this film, Preity and Saif were paired together in blockbuster hits such as, 'Kya Kehna','Dil Chahta Hai' and 'Kal Ho Na Ho'.

Saif Ali Khan, who was last seen on the silver screen in the box office success 'Kaalakandi', has garnered immense praise for his portrayal as a cop in Netflix series 'Sacred Games'. The hit web series that starred Radhika Apte and Nawazuddin Siddiqui was an overnight success with users across the globe. 

Meanwhile, Preity, who was last seen in a cameo in 'Happy Ending' that released in 2014, is returning to the big screen after a hiatus of four years. The 'Kal Ho Na Ho' actress is currently prepping for her role in her next allegedly titled 'Hunter'.

Apart from films, Preity is also enjoying marital bliss with husband Gene Goodenough. The actress got married to her longtime-beau, Goodenough on February 28, 2016. The couple tied the knot in an intimate Hindu wedding ceremony in Los Angeles. The couple stays in the US but Preity juggles between India and the US for her work commitments. In addition to her acting skills, the 43-year-old actress is known for her business strategies and social work. Preity Zinta owns IPL team Kings XI Punjab along with Ness Wadia and Mohit Burman.
