Global icon Priyanka Chopra extended wishes to her friend, former Hollywood actress and the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle for supporting women. Markle, who recently got married to Prince Harry, the Duke of Sussex, now represents the Royal Family of England as she involves herself in philanthropic activities.
According to the latest posts put out by the Palace authorities, Meghan is supporting a new charity cookbook, which celebrates the power of cooking to bring people together. It is an initiative to support women whose communities were affected by the Grenfell Tower fire. The book tells the story of the women from different communities in West London who gathered together to form the 'Hubb Community Kitchen' which discovers the healing power of sharing food. The cookbook named 'Together: Our Community Cookbook' showcases over 50 recipes from women from the 'Hubb Community Kitchen' and aims to showcase how cooking can transform the lives and communities. According to the information provided by the palace authorities, the proceeds from the book will support the 'Hubb Community Kitchen', enabling it to stay open and thrive.

Priyanka Chopra extended her support to Meghan's initiative and said that she is very proud of her. The 'Quantico' actress took to Twitter and shared the cover picture of the book. In the post, she wrote, "So proud of you Meghan. Women supporting women.. supporting communities. Togetherness.. everything you stand for. Amazing."

The couple performed their pre-wedding Roka ceremony in Indian style surrounded by close family and friends. The ceremony took place at Priyanka's Mumbai residence and later, the couple threw a private party for their close friends in Mumbai which was attended by Bollywood celebrities including director Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Alia Bhatt and Parineeti Chopra.
