Priyanka Chopra: Nick Jonas handled logistics for our wedding

Priyanka Chopra is prepping up for her upcoming film, The Sky is Pink. The Padmaavat actor will be seen alongside Farhan Akhtar and Zaira Wasim in this biographical drama. During an interview with a national daily, Priyanka revealed that her husband Nick Jonas helped a lot with the wedding preparations. The actor was busy working in The Sky Is Pink a few days before her wedding.

Priyanka Chopra Praised her husband Nick

The couple tied the knot at Umaid Bhavan Palace in Jodhpur in December. Priyanka Chopra revealed to the media that when the director Shonali Bose approached her, Nick Jonas was not even in the picture. He came into the picture when the actor started shooting for her movie. Priyanka also said that she was working till four days before the day of her wedding. Moreover, the Dostana actor gave credits to her husband for coming earlier.

Nick Jonas helped with their wedding preparations

As their wedding approached, Nick asked her to focus on her work and let him handle everything due in the wedding preparations. Priyanka said that he understood how difficult her movie was. Jonas said he would handle the logistics. While Priyanka was on the sets of her film, Nick would work on the seating and rooming charts.

About The Sky Is Pink

Chopra will be next seen essaying the role of Aditi Chaudhary in her upcoming movie. The Sky is Pink is based on the love story of Aisha Chaudhary’s parents. Aisha, the author of My Little Epiphanies, died due to pulmonary fibrosis the day after her book was released in a literature festival. Zaira Wasim will portray the role of Aisha Chaudhary while Priyanka- Farhan will be seen as her on-screen parents. Directed by Shonali Bose and co-produced by Priyanka Chopra, The Sky is Pink is scheduled to theatrically release on October 11, 2019.
