The actress recently opened up about the nuptials in an interview to a news channel and said that every girl thinks about marriage, having kids and being the special girl on her special day.  Peecee stated that she was nervous and scared and despite talking at well-known platforms across the world in front of eminent personalities, she was ‘most afraid’ on this day. The 36-year-old revealed that amid the nervousness, it was when she saw Nick as the curtains opened that she felt, ‘Life’s okay, there’s nothing to be worried about.”

When asked about the groom’s family getting intimidated by the ‘big fat Indian wedding’, the ‘Barfi!’ star replied that it was the other way around this time as the American family was bigger than the Indian one and that the Jonases ‘travel in packs.’ She said that the bride’s side was more intimidated as the groom’s family came prepared.

On her wedding outfits, Priyanka shared it was not hard for her to make a decision as it came from a personal space and that it was not about fashion. The newlywed stated that the dresses were personalised because being unique is the way she thinks about herself.

Peecee also revealed that the dresses had characters written that matter to her like dates, her parents’ name, ‘Om Namah Shivay,’ and that her mother-in-law's dress was embroidered on her dress. The actress added that she wanted the longest veil in the world and she got that, but apart from that it was just personal and unique to her.

The couple hosted a reception in Delhi on 4 December and are likely to host one for Bollywood stars in mid-December.
