Bollywood actress Sara Ali Khan recently awed her fans and fellow industry mates carrying her own luggage at the airport. The 2-film old diva, who is also the daughter of actor Saif Ali Khan was seen carrying her own bags when she was stopped at Mumbai airport recently. In the video that has surfaced on social media, there was no security personnel or assistant who was accompanying her. Moreover, when a shutterbug greeted her, she responded in the like, and asked him, “Hello! Kaise ho aap (How are you),”.

R Madhavan receives flak for calling Sara Ali Khan a 'youth idol'

This down-to-earth nature of the Bollywood diva has impressed many of her industry seniors. After Rishi Kapoor, actor R Madhavan hailed Sara Ali Khan for the same. Sharing Rishi Kapoor's tweet on the same, he wrote, "Awesome. true youth icon.. stay this way SARA .. you will win fans and hearts"

However, Madhavan's post has received flak on the micro-blogging site, as the netizens took a dig at him for calling Sara 'youth icon' for carrying her own luggage and pointed out how millions do it without any fuss on a daily basis.

Following the same, the actor got engaged in a conversation with a follower and clarified his statement. Replying to a follower who asked 'how can one be called a youth icon by merely this act?', the '3 Idiots' actor said, 'Not acting entitled and doing ones own work with grace is a youth idol for me'

The Twitter user further replied to Madhavan's post saying, "these are our core values, not an act of being an icon", to which the actor replied saying, "Brooo when you have a choice and chose to show grace by. It partaking in the privilege .. that’s the stuff that makes people with principals and icons.."

Meanwhile, Sara Ali Khan will next be seen in Imtiaz Ali's 'Aaj Kal' alongside Kartik Aaryan. The film is reported a sequel of the director's 2012 venture 'Love Aaj Kal' starring Saif Ali Khan and Deepika Padukone. It is slated for Valentine's day release in 2020. 

She is all set to star in the remake of David Dhawan's timeless comedy 'Coolie No 1' which originally starred Govinda and Karisma Kapoor in the lead. The film is scheduled to hit the theatres on May 1, 2020
