During the trailer launch of the film, the Superstar revealed something really stunning about the film. The actor recalled that during the shoot, there was a time when health complications were really taking a toll on him. He disclosed that he had lost confidence that he could pull off his character Chitti and had even asked Shankar to let him opt out of the project. However, the director was really patient and kept in mind the veteran actor's health issues. Rajinikanth also confessed that shooting with a fourteen-kilo suit was quite difficult for him.

After hearing this incredible backstory, it must really be appreciated how Shankar managed to keep the entire team together through thick and thin. Some of his crew members call him the "iron man" and with good reason, we must say for his vision is ironclad. Meanwhile, there is another interesting report emerging of a fan club in Mumbai that has already booked a theater in Sion for the first day first show on Thursday. Apparently, members of fan clubs of both Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar requested the management to allow them to do so and it seems that they have been granted access.

As all these events of fan frenzy unfold, there are reports doing the rounds that the Rajinikanth-Akshay Kumar-starrer ‘2.0’ is all set to create a record in terms of the screen count. The Shankar directorial will reportedly be screened in many as a whopping 10,000 theatres worldwide.

Produced by Lyca Productions and presented by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions, the film which also stars Amy Jackson, Adil Hussain and Sudanshu Pandey in pivotal roles, '2.0' hits the theatres on 29 November.
