Bollywood actors Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor are all set to scare the audiences and make them laugh all at the same time as their next 'Stree'. The film, a horror comedy is set to leave you in spits while scaring you out of your wits. And the shooting experience for the team too has somewhat been the same. During the shoot, the film's team too experienced some paranormal activities. 'Stree' is shot in a small town in Madhya Pradesh called 'Chanderi'. And while the team was shooting there, the locals warned the crew to not shoot at a particular street which was abandoned, but reports suggest that due to a time crunch, the crew decided to shoot at the street anyway and that is when they started experiencing strange things like unidentified technical glitches from the best focus puller not being able to focus and lights flickering or bulbs shattering etc. and all these went on till 4 am leaving the entire crew in a state of shock. As per reports, the film's director Amar Kaushik shared that a day prior to the shoot a few locals came to them and told them that the street the crew had selected for the shoot was haunted and no one goes there. But since the team had to shoot a night scene, the locals were particularly worried. However, the crew went ahead with the shoot as the location perfectly suited the requirements but that particular night they faced a lot of difficulties while shooting. The shooting resumed smoothly post-sunrise and thereafter the crew decided to ask the locals before shooting at any location.

'Stree' starring Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor is the story based in a small-town Chanderi, where people have a belief that a mysterious woman comes and abducts men leaving behind their clothes. The trailer of the film promises some laughs even in such a gritty situation as the film's tagline goes, 'Mard Ko Dard Hoga'. However, the film's writers Raj & DK who have in the past directed 'Go Goa Gone' (2013) shared their real-life experience from where the story of 'Stree' originated. Directed by Amar Kaushik 'Stree' also starring Pankaj Tripathi, Aparshakti Khurana, Abhishek Banerjee and Vijay Raaz is slated to release on August 31.
