Rajkummar Rao might not be a star with six-pack abs, but he has made a name for himself in Bollywood with his acting skills and films that he chooses to work with. From his lesser-known role in Rann to a Satyendra in Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana, the actor has shown his versatility with every film. “Everything is fair in love and war. Love is over. Now the war begins”- Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana

The dialogue is from the movie Shaadi Mein Zarron Aana which features Kriti Kharbanda and Rajkummar Rao in the lead role. Helmed by Ratnaa Sinha, the film is a love story set in Kanpur and centred on Satyendra Mishra (Rao) and Aarti Shukla (Kriti). Apart from the lead actors, KK Raina, Alka Amin, Govind Namdeo and Vipin Sharma were cast for supporting roles in this movie. The film was a hit at the box office.

“Agar shakal dekh ke ladkiyan shaadi karti na ... toh Hindustan mein aadhe ladke kanware hote”- Bareilly Ki Barfi

Bareilly Ki Barfi features two talented actors in one frame, Ayushmann Khurrana and Rajkummar Rao. Directed by Ashwini Iyer Tiwari, the film also features Kriti Sanon, Pankaj Tripathi and Seema Pahwa in pivotal roles. The film achieved massive success at the box office and received six nominations at the 63rd Filmfare Awards. The music of the film is composed by Tanishk Bagchi, Arko Pravo Mukherjee, Samira Koppikar, Sameer Uddin and Vayu.

The romantic comedy film features Rajkummar Rao and Shruti Haasan. The film, directed by Ajay K Pannalal, shows how it feels to be bro-zoned by the girl you have been in love with. The film is set in Lucknow, and Rao portrays the role of the middle-class boy in the film. The film did not work well at the box-office but is considered as one of Rao’s must-watch movies.
