The bond between a brother and a sister develops when the younger one comes into the world, but perhaps only in Indian culture, they formalise it. Most Indians would participate in the rituals of Raksha Bandhan, but how many of them would remember the first time the sister tied the Rakhi to her brother? Shahid and Mira Kapoor’s children Misha and Zain Kapoor showed how this would look as they laid the foundation of this tradition by celebrating their first Raksha Bandhan.
Mira shared pictures from the celebration, where the boys are twinning in white and the girls have also worn matching traditional yellow-pink outfits. Shahid is seen bringing the youngest one’s little hands in front while Mira helps Misha hold the Rakhi. The snap is the cutest thing you will find on the Internet on Thursday.
Mira captioned the post as, “Promises to keep 🌸” and we’re sure Zain will do so when he grows big enough to understand.
On Instagram stories, Mira shares more pics, where the duo is opening the notes written for them.
Shahid and Mira got married in March 2015 and the couple welcomed Misha in August 2016. Zain was born in September 2018.
Misha became a favourite of netizens when her snaps had surfaced and when she started accompanying her parents outside. After Zain’s birth, several pics of the siblings have been shared by their parents that go viral immediately.
Earlier, several B-Town siblings had also celebrated Raksha Bandhan. One of them was Abhishek Bachchan-Shweta Bachchan and their children, Aaradhya, Navya Naveli and Agastya.
