Ranbir Kapoor: Check out the actor's picture clicked on sets of Shamshera

Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor has started shooting for his upcoming project Shamshera. His leaked from the sets pictures leaked online and he looks unrecognizable in this new avatar. Ranbir has donned an all-black outfit. The picture shows the actor in a relaxed position and is wearing loose black kurta and pyjama along with ethnic mojari or jutti. Ranbir is sporting a heavy beard and the picture has a countryside backdrop, in which people are seen in traditional village attire. The next picture in the post showcases Ranbir Kapoor in casual look as he is dressed in a white t-shirt teamed with pyjama and is posing with somebody. This image is after the pack up from the shoot.

Snaps from the sets

Previously, another series of his leaked pictures from the sets appeared online. Those pictures presented Ranbir Kapoor in white dhoti or pyjama paired with Khadi vest. The also had a scarf wrapped around his head. The actor was surrounded by village people donned in a similar kind of looks with kurta and scarf wrapped around the head.

Based on a dacoit tribe

Recently in an interview with the Press Trust of India, Ranbir Kapoor revealed that the movie is not about a dark, but it is based in the 1800s. Shamshera is about a dacoit tribe who will be seen fighting with the British for their rights and independence. The Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani actor added that this story is about heroism which is rooted in our country that happened during that time. He said,” Shamshera is in the aspirational space, the space of the true, badass commercial cinema.” He added that all the films that he is doing are in that direction only.

About the cast

Backed by Yash Raj Films, this action-adventure movie is the helm of Karan Malhotra. Shamshera also stars Sanjay Dutt and Vaani Kapoor besides Ranbir. According to reports, the Ae Dil Hai Mushkil actor will be seen in a double role, while Vaani will play the role of a dancer. Shamshera is slated to release on July 31, 2020.
