Rani Mukerji, Tanishaa enjoy Bhai Pota festival, Kajol drops comment

India recently celebrated the grand festival of lights, Diwali. B-Town has been lit for the five-day festival amid all the Diwali celebrations. Bollywood celebrities were giving us major festive vibes from the past one week by donning perfect traditional outfits. On the occasion of Bhai Dooj also known as Bhai Pota, many celebrities including Rani Mukerjee and cousin Tanisha Mukerjee celebrated the festival.

Tanisha Mukherjee, who is quite active on social media, took to her Instagram account and shared glimpses of her Bhai Pota celebrations. She was seen posing with her brothers and also sisters, Rani Mukerji and Sharbani Mukerji. However, Rani's cousin Kajol was missing from the family picture and fans took no time to spot her absence.

While many of the photos shared were filled with joy and happiness of the Mukerji family, fans wanted to see Kajol in the frame and asked where she was. However, Kajol did not make her absence felt. She was quick to comment on the picture shared by Tanisha. Kajol commented, “EPIC”. It is said that Rani is not so active on social media and in fact, does not have any social media account. Hence, every time her photos make it all over the internet, they tend to go viral.

A few weeks ago, the entire Mukerji clan was seen together during Durga Puja. On the occasion, Kajol, Rani, Tanisha, Ayan and others from the family posed together for the photos. Fans loved every bit of their photo from the Durga Puja celebrations as well.

Professional front

On the professional front, Rani will soon be seen in Mardaani 2. It is the sequel of the original women-centric action-drama Mardaani (2014). Shivani Shivaji Roy aka Rani Mukerjee will once again lock horns with a devil, incarnate serial killer who is raping and murdering young women. The film is written and directed by Gopi Puthran and produced by Aditya Chopra under Yash Raj Films banner. Mardaani 2 is being promoted with the hashtag, “#shewon’tstop”, which forms the gist of the story. Rani Mukherjee was praised a lot for her bold character of a lady cop in Mardaani. This time also, she will be seen fighting with the ruthless criminals in some epic action sequences from Mardaani 2.
