Ever since the actress has gone on to display her versatility and has worked with various directors across her two-decade-long career. Meanwhile, the ever so energetic Ranveer Singh is a force to reckon with both onscreen and offscreen. And seems like the duo share a warm camaraderie. Rani Mukerji and Ranveer Singh were snapped sharing a hug during a recent event and the pictures have gone viral on social media. Not too long ago, Rani had expressed her desire to work with Ranveer Singh and it sent their fans in a frenzy.

On the work front, Rani Mukerji made her Bollywood comeback post motherhood with ‘Hichki’ and won many accolades for the same. The actress’ performance of a teacher suffering from Tourette’s Syndrome was much appreciated by fans and critics alike. Rani was also recently honoured at the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne Awards. The actress bagged the Best Actress award for ‘Hichki’ and was also felicitated with the 'Excellence In Cinema’ award.

What's next for Ranveer Singh

Meanwhile, Ranveer Singh will next be seen in Rohit Shetty's directorial ‘Simmba’. The actor plays a notorious cop in the film which also stars Sara Ali Khan. ‘Simmba’ is set for a release on December 28, 2018. Meanwhile, Ranveer Singh has also recently wrapped up the shoot for Zoya Akhtar's 'Gully Boy' alongside Alia Bhatt. The film follows the story of real-life street rappers Divine and Naezy from Mumbai's Dharavi slum. As per reports, Ranveer Singh had admitted that after his debut film 'Band Baaja Baaraat' if there is any other film that is close to his heart, it was 'Gully Boy'. In addition to this, Ranveer has also bagged a role in ‘Takht’, a war epic which also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan, Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal, Bhumi Pednekar, Janhvi Kapoor and Anil Kapoor.
