Ranveer Singh: Movies that fans think he should not have signed

Ranveer Singh is one of the most popular actors of Bollywood. He has worked in many superhit movies yet here are some of his movies that failed to do well.

Ranveer Singh is currently one of the most celebrated actor of Bollywood. The actor set foot in Bollywood with Yash Raj Chopra's film Band Baaja Baraat alongside Anushka Sharma. The actor then went on to do many good films that reportedly made him everyone's favourite. Later his talent was recognized by film director Sanjay Leela Bhansali who offered him even better projects that were loved by the audience. However, the Padmaavat actor has also worked in some films that did not work in his favour.

Here are some films that fans think Ranveer should not have signed

1. Kill Dil

Kill Dil is a 2014 romantic action comedy film featuring Ranveer Singh, Pakistani actor Ali Zafar, Govinda and also Parineeti Chopra. The film is directed by Shaad Ali and produced under the banner of Yash Raj Films. The movie portrayed Ranveer Singh and Ali Zafar as gangsters. The movie reportedly failed to do well at the Box Office. Box Office India went on to term it as a flop.

2. Lootera

Released in 2013, the movie was based on a short story- The Last Leaf. The movie featured Ranveer Singh and Sonakshi Sinha in the lead roles. The movie had a good storyline but still failed to do well at the box office. Reportedly, the audience felt that the movie was prolonged unnecessarily. Lootera was produced under the banner of Balaji Motion Pictures and directed by Vikramaditya Motwane. At the box office, the movie was still termed a flop.

3. Befikre

Befikre is a 2016 romantic comedy film starring Ranveer Kapoor alongside Vaani Kapoor. The movie was shot in Paris and Mumbai. Befikre had some catchy songs that were liked by the audience. But the movie still failed to create the buzz at the box office. The movie was directed by Aditya Chopra and bankrolled by Yash Raj Films.

4. Dil Dhadakne Do

The 2015 release was a multi starrer film that featured Ranveer Singh, Priyanka Chopra, Anushka Sharma, Anil Kapoor, Farhan Akhtar, Shefali Shah. However, in spite of having a huge star cast the movie's performance at the Box Office was below average. Dil Dhadakne Do is directed by Zoya Akhtar and produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar.
