Ranveer Singh, Sara Ali Khan And Rohit Shetty Shower Their Love On Karan Johar On The Sets Of 'Simmba'

Filmmaker Karan Johar is known for spoiling his actors on the sets and the filmmaker is used to receiving love in return. So much so, that this time the love showered upon the filmmaker proved to be bone crushing for him. Recently Karan Johar posted a picture on his social media handles along with his 'Simmba' team comprising Ranveer Singh, Sara Ali Khan and director Rohit Shetty. While Ranveer can be seen planting a kiss on Karan Johar's cheeks, Rohit Shetty and Sara Ali Khan just seem to be enjoying the moment.

Sharing the adorable picture on his official Twitter handle, Karan Johar tweeted, "Bone crushing love on the sets of #SIMMBA!!! The brilliant and epic combination of ROHIT SHETTY AND RANVEER SINGH! The introduction of the stunning SARA ALI KHAN!! The madness and magic of the film!!! Can’t wait for you guys to own the power of #SIMMBA this December 28th! 2018💪".

The film's lead actor Ranveer Singh too shared the picture on his Twitter saying that the team has too much of love to share. In his post, Ranveer Singh wrote, "Hamare yahaan pyar hi pyar milega! 😘💕 Special appearance on the sets of #Simmba @karanjohar #RohitShetty #SaraAliKhan".

Rohit Shetty's directorial 'Simmba' will see Ranveer Singh playing the role of a rowdy Police Officer. The film will also be marking the Bollywood debut of Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh's daughter Sara Ali Khan who was earlier slated to make her debut with Abhishek Kapoor's directorial 'Kedarnath' starring Sushant Singh Rajput. But with 'Kedarnath's release date being pushed to 2019, 'Simmba' will mark Sara's debut. 'Simmba' is slated to release on December 28, 2018.

What's next for Ranveer Singh and Sara Ali Khan

Sara Ali Khan was signed for 'Simmba' when a controversy erupted between the producer of 'Kedarnath', KriArj Entertainment and director Abhishek Kapoor as the two had an ugly fall out following which KriArj Entertainment moved to Bombay High Court to claim their rights on the film. Meanwhile, Ranveer Singh will next be seen in Zoya Akhtar's 'Gully Boy' starring Alia Bhatt and Kalki Koechlin. The actor is also prepping up for Kabir Khan's directorial '83' which is based on the historic 1983 Cricket World Cup victory at Lords, London.
